At Children Without Beds, we are devoted to ensuring every child knows they deserve their own bed—a cornerstone for a brighter future. ![bed](https://childrenwithoutbeds.org/hubfs/bed.svg) #### Why a Bed Matters Studies have shown that a good night's sleep is vital for a child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. A proper bed is more than a piece of furniture; it's a starting point for a better life. ![faith](https://childrenwithoutbeds.org/hubfs/faith.svg) #### Grounded in Faith Our organization is rooted in the principles of compassion, kindness, and love. We draw particular inspiration from the Bible verse: 'And He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and blessed them' — Mark 10:16. ![delivery](https://childrenwithoutbeds.org/hubfs/delivery.svg) #### Where We Deliver Our impact is growing steadily. We deliver within a 35-mile radius, with referrals  from school social workers, DCFS, and other organizations. We've even been honored to provide beds for Habitat for Humanity homes recipients. ![volunteering](https://childrenwithoutbeds.org/hubfs/volunteering.svg) #### Helping All While our primary mission is to support children from tots to teens, we also understand that their guardians may need help, too, when the situation calls. ### Our Story ##### The Beginning Tracy Graham, who has been dedicated to children’s outreach for over two decades in the Roswell & Alpharetta area, initiated a children’s ministry in downtown Atlanta in 2014. It was during this time that Tracy encountered a woman living without basic furniture. This prompted Tracy and her team to organize a donation drive to furnish the woman’s apartment. On the day of delivery, children from the ministry eagerly volunteered to help, revealing a startling truth: they themselves didn’t have beds. In 2017, Children Without Beds (CWB) was established with a clear mission: to ensure no child would have to sleep on the floor. Their first major initiative was a Thanksgiving Outreach at the same apartment complex where Tracy had her defining moment. From 2016 to 2025, the organization has delivered over 1200 beds to children across 48 cities in Georgia. Each delivery is more than just providing a bed; it’s about understanding the unique stories of these families, offering support, and building lasting relationships. The joy seen in the children’s faces upon receiving their very first bed is immeasurable, and it’s this impact that drives CWB forward.
